This copycat Coffee Bean Iced Passion Tea Latte starts with brewed passion tea, and is combined with pure vanilla powder, granulated sugar, and splash of heavy cream.
Begin by boiling your water on the stovetop on high in a medium sized pan. Be cautious as the water could bubble up. Upon boiling, remove the pan carefully from the heat, and add your four teabags to it. Cover the pan with it’s lid, and allow the teabags to steep in the hot water for five minutes. Once the time has elapsed, squeeze the teabags gently to remove the remains tea and water, and then discard them. Gently pour the tea into a pitcher. Add your vanilla powder and granulated sugar, mixing well until no remnants remain (about thirty seconds). Refrigerate for two hours or overnight.
Once the tea is chilled, remove it from the refrigerator. Fill four glasses with ice, and divide the tea evenly among the glasses. Add a splash of heavy cream or your favorite dairy or plant based milk to each glass of iced tea. Stir and enjoy!
Store any leftovers in the refrigerator for up to three days. Best stored without milk or ice.
