For the French Hot Chocolate: Place all ingredients except for the vanilla extract into a medium sauce pan on the stove top on medium heat. Whisk until all of the chocolate has melted and the hot chocolate is smooth in texture and hot but not boiling.
Remove from the heat and stir in the vanilla. Serve in mugs with lightly sweetened whipped cream, chocolate curls, biscotti, or butter cookies. Serves 2.
For the Board: Arrange all goodies on a wooden cutting board or large plate. Serve alongside French Hot Chocolate. Enjoy!
