Notes: I have an Oster brand waffle iron that I use most of the time. My iron takes about ¾ cup of batter per waffle and I cook each waffle 4- 4 ½ minutes.
This little mini gingerbread waffle iron takes ¼ cup batter. I cooked these waffles for about 3 minutes each.
This recipe is easily made gluten and / or dairy free. Simply sub a 1:1 gluten free flour for the all purpose, and vegan butter + non-dairy milk for regular butter and milk.
