Sweet, salty, and festive to boot, you will want to have this Thanksgiving Snack Mix on hand all month long.

    Thanksgiving Snack Mix

A good snack mix is hard to find. Now hear me out: this generally has to do with the copious amounts of raisins that end up in so many of them. I enjoy raisins in a handful of things, most notably this family recipe for Mama Elizabeths Julekaka Bread. But snack mix? Pass. I’ll take honey roasted almonds, sweet dried cranberries, candied chocolates, mini cinnamon roll cereal, and dark chocolate covered pretzels any day. This Thanksgiving Snack Mix will please your guests all month long, and you’re sure to want a batch on hand long before the holiday hits.

What you’ll need to make this Thanksgiving Snack Mix:

    Honey Roasted Almonds

    Dried Sweetened Cranberries

    Dark Chocolate Covered Pretzels

    Cinnamon Toast Crunch Rolls

Trader Joe’s Candy Coated Chocolates (you can use M&M’s if you prefer)

Adorable Fall Wooden Spoons, optional but encouraged 😉

A leaf spoon with snack mix in it

    Mixing it Up

I used about a cup of each item, with about 2 cups of the pretzels because they were larger in size. You can do more or less of whatever you like; and get creative! Add in your favorite nuts, candies, and dried fruit, and make it your own.

Grab a large bowl and all of your snack mix items. Measure out how much snack mix you’ll need per person (a good rule of thumb is 1-2 ounces per person). Pour each item into your bowl, and toss well to combine.

Place the snack mix in your serving bowl, and enjoy! Store any leftovers in an airtight container at room temperature for up to one week.

    Dietary Substitutions

You can substitute gluten free and dairy free items that you love for anything in this snack mix. Look for gluten free or dairy free chocolate covered pretzels, gluten free cereals, and dairy free chocolates.
