No Churn Snickers Ice Cream with a Caramel Ripple

No Churn Snickers Ice Cream with a Caramel Drizzle

It’s officially ice cream season. Ok no it’s not. But really, one could argue that even in the dead of winter, ice cream is a surprisingly satisfying treat. Curled up by the fire with a warm blanket, your favorite movie, and a giant bowl of no churn snickers ice cream with a caramel ripple running through it DOES sound pretty enticing, right?

    No-Churn Snickers Ice Cream

Here’s what you’ll need to make this no-churn snickers ice cream with a caramel ripple:

    Heavy Cream

    Half and Half

Fun Sized Snickers (regular sized works too if you’ve got those on hand! Or the bite sized ones. Really any snickers is A-ok)

    Sweetened Condensed Milk

    Pure Vanilla Extract

    Caramel Sauce

Ice Cream Holder Snickers Ice Cream

    The Base Recipe

Here is the base recipe that I start all of my no-churn ice creams with. The heavy cream + half and half really create the best combination of creaminess without being TOO heavy, and the sweetened condensed milk is what gives it the ice cream texture and sweetness. Really any add-in’s are purely up to you. I’ve dabbled with writing a free ice cream e-book just because I love ice cream recipes, so don’t be surprised if that makes it’s way into your email someday!

    The Dairy Free Alternative

You can also enjoy this ice cream dairy free. Simply follow the subs I outline in this recipe for vegan ice cream, and choose dairy free candy and caramel.

    The Candy

I love Snickers. But really I love all candy and you could substitute any of your favorite chocolate candies in here and it would be delicious. Reeses, M&M’s, KitKat, Almond Joy… really anything can be crushed and mixed into ice cream for that extra special kick of sweetness.

No Churn Snickers Ice Cream with a Caramel Ripple

    The Caramel

if you’ve been around these parts for any length of time, you’ll recognize that many of my gooiest recipes include this Three Ingredient Caramel that is luscious beyond words, and comes together in ten minuets. I promise that if you try to make homemade caramel using my recipe, you will succeed! And you’ll never go back to store bought. If you must use store bought, I recommend a brand that has minimal ingredients that you can pronounce, like Trader Joe’s caramel sauce.
